Next on my list of pet peeves (yes, I’m gonna spout off about all of ‘em now that I’m started) is the number of married men I hear from. This is really disturbing! At least some have the balls to admit it but a lot don’t and think they can just slide right into the FWB thing. Why is that? I mean, come on – there are places for you to go that cater specifically to your needs – Ashley Madison for one – but, oh, you might have to pay for something then, right?



I know men aren’t the only guilty parties out there – the AM site likely has as many married or otherwise women registered too but the proportionate number I hear from on sites that are supposed to be for “singles” is scary.



Not all of us have a desire to be “the other woman” you know. And what makes you think you are the answer to what we’re looking for anyway? Frankly, having been there a couple of times – really through no fault of my own – I didn’t like it and I’m glad my loyalty to the sisterhood’s intact.



If you guys put half as much energy into your own relationships as you do into chasing women like me, where would you be? Maybe in the same relationship but a better one! Just commenting out loud folks.


Is it just me or ... are men really getting old before their time?

It used to be a woman might only be 36 but look 56. Now it seems that men are hitting 45 – 50 and looking 60. I’m not saying that I still look like a cheerleader or anything but at 46, I’m in pretty good shape and yet, a lot of the men I hear from in my age range look like old men – like someone’s grandfather is supposed to look or something. Gees! Do you think they’re lying to me about their ages? I don’t want to sound too critical or anything but can’t you guys do something to spruce it up a bit?

My neighbour is a single gal, same age as me and she looks pretty good too. She’s also noticed the same thing and says this is why she won’t go out with anyone over 40 – yikes – 40!!! – because they’re too old. I tend to agree. And we’re not any of these so-called cougars-hunters either. We’re looking for real men, not boys. Just don’t want them to look like our grandfathers, that’s all!!
